Alliance Française Accra Director joins the FRA!mily, announces free-of-charge venue for 2026 FRA!ternity
The band FRA! celebrated 10 years of its annual concert on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
The programme, aptly called FRA!10nity Festival, brought together at least a 1000 people including avowed fans who are correctly called the FRA!mily, and curious music lovers.
Among the newcomers was the Director of Alliance Française Accra (AFA), Hélène Geneau-Okutue, who enjoyed the event from the front row.

Prince Benjamin (PB) of classfmonline.com reached out to her, Monday, January 20, 2025, for a more intimate understanding of her experience at the event, beyond her smiles, claps, singing and dancing from the fateful night.
Furthermore, she revealed the reason behind her surprise announcement of waiving off the venue fee for FRA!ternity 2026.
See exclusive interview below:
Q: I hope this email finds you well.
A: Yes, I am fine, still feeling Fra! vibes!!!
Q: What was your favourite memory from the concert, and did you observe any differences compared to that of the previous years?
A: It was the first time I attended Fra! concert and it was amazing! My favorite memory is of all the concert! The energy of the artists and of the audience, the shared joy, the diversity of origins and social categories was just unbelievable.
Q: What prompted you to waive off next year's booking fee for FRA!?
A: The group fully deserves it. They rented our space for 10 years, we owe them this favor. Also, Ghanaian youth love them and by offering the free space, I hope that the price of entry to the concert will be cheaper next year and, therefore, even more accessible for young Ghanaians.
Q: What do you think of FRA!'s music? What is your favourite song(s) from them, if any?
A: Their music is so exciting that you can't help but dance. Their songs stick in your head several hours and even days after the end of the concert. Their music fills us with joy and encourages fraternity and diversity. We share these values at the Alliance Française d'Accra, which are essential, given the challenges facing Ghanaian youth. I definitely love the song AMEN and YOU DEY FEEL THE VIBE; I've been listening to them constantly since the concert ended!
Q: What would you say about the crowd FRA! brings to the AFA arena?
A: The strong audience shows that Ghanaians love their music and encourages us to support young music groups similar to Fra! which encourages the communion of spirits as was the case on Saturday evening. I am so sorry to have missed the 2024 edition! I now know what I lost! What I also particularly like is that the group gives other artists the opportunity to make themselves known to them – there is strength in unity! Having the youth, the Ghanaian public, and others come to the Alliance Française in Accra is an opportunity for us to show what we do, namely; cultural events (priority for Ghanaians and with Ghanaians, and French-speaking people from the sub-region), and hosting French, English and Twi courses. We are a Ghanaian association under local law, of 85 people, and we are 90% self-funded.
We Go Make Am, featuring Aduberks, is FRA!'s latest offering from its first-ever EP of the same title.
