2024 Eminent Awards: Eugene Baah receives Paragon honour for 'outstanding contributions to radio broadcasting'
Radio producer, social media manager, and content creator Eugene Baah Danso has been named an honourary recipient of the Paragon trophy at the 2024 Eminent Awards.
Speaking on Accra 100.5 FM, and presenting the honour, Director, Eminent Awards, Prince ‘Chilky’ Asiedu, underlined his admiration and respect for Eugene’s talent and work ethic.
“I spoke to a prominent person – I will not disclose who – who praised Eugene as a hardworking individual who competently handles all his responsibilities. It means he’s on the right path. It is necessary that we encourage him not to stop but carry on, and inspire many up and coming talents,” he added.
Popularly called Eugene Baah, the Class Media Group (CMG) talent produces Accra FM’s midmorning show Ayekoo Ayekoo hosted by Nana Romeo, and Entertainment Capital hosted by Prince Benjamin (PB).
The 2024 Eminent Awards citation presented to Eugene Baah read, “In recognition of your outstanding contributions to the radio broadcasting industry, you are honoured for your exceptional work as a radio producer.
“With a career marked by creativity, professionalism, and a deep passion for media, you have played an integral role in shaping engaging and impactful radio content that resonates with listeners.
“Your behind-the-scenes expertise has been instrumental in crafting high-quality programming that informs, entertains, and connects audiences. Your attention to detail, innovative ideas, and seamless coordination have been pivotal in delivering successful shows, ensuring that listeners receive enriching and enjoyable content.
“Your dedication to excellence, ability to collaborate with talent, and commitment to maintaining the highest production standards have earned you respect from colleagues and industry leaders alike.
“Your work continues to influence and elevate the quality of radio broadcasting in Ghana.
“We say ayekoo!!! Celebrating excellence, encouraging hard work and creativity.”
The 2024 Eminent Awards was dubbed Triumphant Trilogy, and took place at the GNAT Hall, Adabraka, Accra.
According to Chilky, Eminent Awards will soon add a category to spotlight pundits in the media.
He revealed, preparations were already underway for the 2025 Eminent Awards dubbed the Quadra Honour edition.
“It’s the fourth time we’ll be hosting the Eminent awards,” he explained, indicating Saturday, October 25, was the date, and that, all things being equal, the GNAT Hall will remain the venue.
He said before that, however, nominations were open for an Eminent Awards event in Nigeria.
