YEA launches GHartisan APP August 27
The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) is set to hold a significant passing out ceremony on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, for 10,000 artisans who have successfully completed training under the agency’s skills training programme.
The event will take place at Valley View University in Techiman, Bono East Region.
During the ceremony, YEA will also unveil its inaugural GHartisan App, an innovative online platform where the profiles of all trained artisans will be listed.
This App aims to connect artisans with people seeking their services in various trades, making it easier for users to find skilled professionals in their local areas.
In addition to the App launch, YEA will distribute starter packs to the graduates, equipping them to establish their own businesses and begin their entrepreneurial journeys.
The event will be graced by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who will attend as the Special Guest of HonoUr.
Other distinguished speakers include Mr. Ignatius Baffour-Awuah, Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, Mr. Kwasi Adu-Gyan, Bono East Regional Minister, and Mr. Kofi Agyepong, Chief Executive Officer of YEA.
