Rana Motors unveils Gen-5 Kia Sportage model to mark SUV’s 30-year anniversary in Ghana
Rana Motors is celebrating 30 years of the Kia Sportage in Ghana with the launch of a limited special edition of the SUV’s 5th Generation model.
Assembled locally, this new edition combines cutting-edge technology with local craftsmanship, underscoring the company’s commitment to innovation.
The special edition Sportage features notable upgrades, including acoustic laminated glass for a quieter ride and enhanced safety with eight airbags, including rear side airbags.
At the launch event, Chief Operating Officer of Rana Motors, Kassem Odaymat, described the milestone as a pivotal moment for the brand.
“To mark three decades of outstanding success, Kia has equipped a new special edition of the 2024 Sportage with enhanced specification, focusing on convenience and safety while further elevating the model’s considerable luxury and design appeal,” he said.
Mr Odaymat added: “Looking into the future, we are certain that Kia Sportage is ready to explore new horizons. With Rana Motors by its side, this adventurer will continue to push the boundaries of possibility.”
Sales Manager Alex Kuntah assured that the new Sportage is available across showrooms, promising customers great value for money.
As part of the celebration, the first five buyers of the 30th Anniversary Limited Edition were presented with premium branded anniversary gifts alongside the handover of their new SUVs.
