NLA seeks partnership to elevate Ghana’s lottery market
Mr Sammi Awuku, Director-General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), has announced potential plans to elevate Ghana’s lottery market onto the global stage.
In a recent meeting with executives from Scientific Games in Atlanta, Georgia, Mr Awuku explored opportunities for a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing Ghana's scratch lottery and instant games market.
Scientific Games, a world leader in Instant Games, Scratch Lottery, and Raffle Games, produces an astonishing 25 billion scratch lottery tickets annually and holds a dominant 70% share of the global market in these categories.
The discussions, held with CEO, Mr Patrick McHugh and Vice President Nicholas Spahr, centered on leveraging Scientific Games’ expertise to develop Ghana’s lottery offerings, positioning the NLA as a competitive player in the global market.
Expressing his enthusiasm about the prospects, Mr Awuku highlighted the significance of this potential collaboration.
"I am excited about the possibilities ahead and look forward to fostering a fruitful partnership between Scientific Games and the NLA," he stated
