Mahama promises cashew factory for Amoma under next NDC Gov't

John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has promised to establish a cashew factory for the people of Amoma in the Kintampo South Constituency of the Bono East Region as part of his Farmer Service Centre policy.
Speaking at the Amoma D/A School Park, Mr Mahama assured that his next government would prioritize the cashew industry by announcing prices at the beginning of each season, similar to the practice for cocoa.
This, he explained, would enable farmers to know the price of Cashew and estimate their profits at the end of the season.
Mr Mahama emphasized that the proposed factory in Amoma would support cashew farmers by providing a local processing facility, helping to boost production and improve the livelihoods of farmers in the region.
