Here are the winners of the 5th season of NEIP's Presidential Pitch

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's final Presidential Pitch has been successfully concluded. 

The overall winner of the 5th season was 25-year-old Samuel Naamgwimaa, an Electrical Engineering student from the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) and a native of Damango. 

He was awarded a GH¢250,000 grant to help further develop his Smart Switch solution for the market.

Samuel Naamgwimaa, the founder of Naamgwinaa Technologies, impressed the judges with his innovative electronics company, which designs and manufactures the Smart Switch. 

This cutting-edge device optimizes energy management and automation for both homes and businesses. 

The Smart Switch is highly versatile, with applications ranging from rooms and streetlights to cars and air conditioners.

The second-place winner was Wisdom Boadu of FreshLine Post Harvest Solutions, who received a GH¢150,000 grant. 

FreshLine PHS is dedicated to bridging the gap between smallholder farmers and consumers by reducing food waste and enhancing the dining experience. 

Their mission focuses on transforming fresh produce into nutritious and flavorful products, such as their signature tomato powder, while also promoting sustainability.

In third place was Bismark Asante, representing Decor Plus, who was awarded a GH¢140,000 grant. 

Decor Plus is an innovative recycling and manufacturing company that repurposes waste PVC pipes into a variety of lighting products, including chandeliers, wall lights, bedside lamps, ceiling design lights, and corner lights. 

Their mission is to create high-quality, aesthetically pleasing lighting solutions while reducing plastic waste and its environmental impact. 

Decor Plus is also committed to reducing carbon emissions, addressing respiratory health issues, creating employment, equipping youth with practical skills, and promoting the creative industry.
