Ghana to get bauxite refinery 2020 – Bawumia
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawmuia has revealed that the Akufo-Addo administration will in the coming year establish a bauxite refinery in Ghana.
According to him, the refinery will ensure that value is added to the bauxite mined in Ghana, which will subsequently provide jobs for the teeming youth
He made this known during the National Delegates Conference of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Sunday December 22, 2019 at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair, Accra.
Dr Bawumia further explained that the move is part of the government’s plan of industrializing the Ghanaian economy for job creation.
He assured all and sundry that the government will continue to work assiduously to reduce the hardships and suffering of Ghanaians.

“We have reduced the suffering of teacher trainees by restoring teacher trainee allowances.
“We have reduced the suffering of nursing trainees by restoring nursing training allowances.”
He continued: “We have reduced the suffering of farmers with the introduction of the Planting for Food and Jobs programmers.
