Clean-Jobs Resources Limited alerts public on unauthorized mining in Tano-Anwia forest

The Clean-Jobs Resources Limited, formerly known as Clean-Jobs Ghana Limited, has issued a public warning regarding unauthorized mining activities within its designated lease area in the Tano-Anwia Forest, located in the Western Region.
The company, which holds an officially sanctioned mining lease for the area, expressed serious concerns about illegal encroachment by some illegal miners.
In a statement signed by Corporate Affairs and dated August 25, 2024, Clean-Jobs Resources emphasized that it is the sole holder of a fully authorized mining lease for the Tano-Anwia Forest area.
The company is currently in the process of securing an entry permit from the Forestry Commission, a necessary requirement before commencing any mining operations within the lease area.
However, the company has recently discovered that illegal miners have encroached upon its lease, posing a significant threat to both its operations and the ecological integrity of the forest.
Clean-Jobs Resources stressed that it has not granted permission to any individual, group, or entity to enter or carry out activities in the area.
‘Any such activities are deemed illegal and unauthorized, the statement stressed.
In response to the encroachment, Clean-Jobs Resources has formally notified the Forestry Commission and has requested immediate intervention to remove the illegal miners from the site.
The company is actively working with the Commission to protect its investment and preserve the environmental balance of the forest, the statement said.
The company also issued a public advisory, urging people to disregard any claims by individuals or groups alleging that they have been granted authorization by Clean-Jobs Resources to operate in the area.
The company made it clear that such claims are false and should be dismissed.
Clean-Jobs Resources reaffirmed its commitment to protecting its lease and ensuring that all activities within the area comply with legal and environmental standards.
The company is collaborating closely with the Forestry Commission to resolve the issue and prevent future occurrences of illegal mining.
The company expressed gratitude for the support of the public and relevant authorities as it takes the necessary steps to address the situation.
Clean-Jobs Resources reiterated its goal of operating responsibly while ensuring the sustainable management of its mining lease in alignment with environmental conservation efforts, the statement concluded
