Kakraba D/A Basic School: Students urged to take education seriously – Our Desiree NGO
Founder of Our Desiree, a non-profit organisation (NGO) committed to enhancing education and community development, Juaben Serwaa, has urged students to take their education seriously.
She impressed on the students that life will become better if they took their education seriously.
Juaben Serwaa made these comments come after Our Desiree embarked on a donation outreach to Kakraka, a village nestled in the Oti Region.
Items including desks, chairs, blackboards, textbooks, exercise books, writing materials, teaching materials, hygiene kits, and school uniforms were donated to help boost education in the district.
Speaking to the media, Ms Juaben Serwaa called on students, especially in the Kakraka D/A Basic School, to commit to reading their books and obeying their teachers.
She has also urged the students to take good care of what had been donated to them.
Ms Juaben Serwaa also explained that her initiative to donate educational items to deprived school was to help boost their confidence level.
Headmaster of Kakraka D/A Basic School, Asuma Anthony, on his part, thanked Our Desiree for coming to their aid.
