C/R: Ceal Foundation donates to orphanage home
The Executive Director of Ceal Foundation, Miss Alberta Gyesiwah Yamoah, as part of her birthday celebration, has donated relief items worth millions of Ghana cedis to Graceland Needy Child Care Orphanage Home located at Danso near Awutu Bawjiase in the Awutu Senya West district of the Central Region.
Some of the relief items include assorted drinks, washing powder, second-hand clothes, cooking oil, mineral water, bags of cement, biscuits and others to cushion the management of the orphanage home.
Presenting the items to the management of the orphanage, Miss Alberta Gyesiwah Yamoah explained she was motivated by the spirit of God when she was a child to show mercy to the needy no matter the tribulations she faced in life hence the motivation to form the Ceal Foundation to reach out to the needy in the society with the little God has blessed her with.
She further called on well-meaning personalities, NGOs and the government to reach out to the Graceland Needy Child Care Orphanage Home since they all have the potential to hold higher positions in the country. She noted lack of petty support could derail the prospects of the children in future.
Speaking at the event was the General Secretary of the Great Consolidated People's Party (GCPP), Citizen Ato Dadzie ESQ, who urged the government to absorb part of the overheads of private social service providers by supporting them in areas of utility bills, and enrol the orphans on the National Health policy since their all assets to the nation.
