Tic: Date for at least 7 years then marry to avoid needless trouble
Tic, formerly called Tic Tac, has cautioned his followers on social media not to settle down with anyone they have not dated for at least seven years.
He asserted this advice was so crucial those who heeded it would express thankfulness in the future, near or distant.
On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, the Hiplife superstar wrote on X: "Don't marry a man or a woman you have not dated for more than 7 years. Thank me later."
The Kwani Kwani hitmaker's post offered no explicit explanation. However, he appeared to hint at one when he reposted a reaction to the message.
Authored by one Margharita Putin (@_najilal), the reaction read: "I can't hide my bad character for that long o [weeping emoji]."
It would appear, therefore, Tic is of the opinion, seven years is enough time to discern the true character of one's partner, to help in decision-making regarding marriage.
In the comments of the original post, some X users praised Tic for sharing wisdom and others argued his advice was not absolute.
